Federal High Court restrains Obaseki, stops NASS, DSS, Police

The are indications that the Federal High Court, sitting in Port Harcourt, may have perpetually restrained the National Assembly (Senate and Federal House of Representatives) from interfering in the legislative functions or taking over the Edo State House of Assembly.

Others that have been restrained includes the Director of State Services (DSS) and the Police. The court also stopped Governor Godwin Obaseki from issuing a fresh ‘proclamation’ letter. According to reports filtering in from the oil city, the order of the court is to remain until final determination of the substantive case.
