Boxed in difficult corner and confronted with obvious defeat, the suspended national chairman of All Progressives Congress, APC, Mr. Adams Aliyu Oshiomhole may have resorted to use foul tactics to wade off the ratification of the Abuja High Court ruling which restrained the party from recognising him as National Chairman.

His latest move, Midwest Herald has been told is the ‘procurement’ of a court order to restrain the party from holding the National Executive Committee, NEC meeting that was called by Mr. Victor Giadom, the Acting Deputy National Secretary.

However, Midwest Herald can authoritatively report that Oshiomhole’s ingenious plan have been nipped in the bud by those hunting him and stagging his fall from grace to grass.

Part of the plan is to dissolve the party’s National Working Committee to pave way for a caretaker committee to be headed by an Acting national chairman, to assuage all contending interest blocks.

The action Midwest Herald was told will put paid to the logion of court cases in the various courts. This action will invalidate the expected outcome of the planned restraining order Oshiomhole may get before March 17, 2020.

With less than a week to the anticipated NEC meeting, it has become clear that Oshiomhole and his team, including his factional Edo State chairman, Mr. David Imuse, may be locked out of the gathering.

This permutation gained traction yesterday, with those that attended the meeting with Giadom. Those present were the National Vice Chairman, North East, Comrade Salihu Mustapha, National Vice Chairman, South West, Pastor Mr. Bankole Oluwajana and the National Organising Secretary, Mr. Emma Ubeduro.

Also present were the National Youth Leader, Mr. Abubakar Sadiq, the National Woman Leader. Hajiya Salamatu Beiwa and the party’s Acting National Auditor, Mr. Paul Chukwuma.

Edo State APC Chairman Mr. Analemma Ojezua was in attendance and joined in the discussion and arrangement for the NEC meeting.
