Coronation of HRM Tsola Emiko: Sights and Sounds of Traditional Rites

Despite calling for a praise and worship session a day to his coronation as the 21st Olu of Warri, Ogiame Atuwatse III, Prince Utieyinoritsetsola Emiko was made to go through a compulsory sessions of traditional rites.

These rites leading up to the eventual coronation, celebrates acceptability of an individual to the throne of traditional ruler ship
of a community of people.

In addition to the traditional rites, it is note worthy to state that the 21st Olu of Warri kingdom is the first Olu of Warri in over two centuries whose mother was alive to see him ascend the throne

He is also the first Olu of Warri in five centuries to be married to a Benin woman.

Below are the sight and sound of the tradiinal rites he performed before his coronation which held on Saturday August 21st 2021, in Warri, Delta state, Nigeria.
