‘Am Against Removal of Elected PDP Officials – Dan Orbih

The People’s Democratic Party, National Vice Chairman, South South, Chief Dan Osi Orbih has said that he wouldn’t support the removal of elected party officials that were elected during the last congresses in Edo Edo State.

He made his mind known when he addressed PDP leaders and members in Edo Central recently.

According to a release sent to Midwest Herald, Orbih reinstated that he took oath to protect and stand by the Constitution of PDP…”therefore, ‘am against dissolution, harmonization or any form of removal of our elected party officials who were elected during the State Congresses in the 2020.”

The statement stated that the PDP National Vice Chairman made his remarks during a new year get together hosted by the Arc Bishop Anthony Okosun in Uromi.

Those at the event were Edo Central Senetorial Executives, State Exco Officials from Edo Central, Edo Central Local Government party chairmen and Ward Chairmen and their Executive members.

The latest development comes at a time stakeholders are calling for restraints in order to stabilize the paety in Edo State.
