All is set, today June 8, 2022, for Bola Ahmed Tinubu to pick the presidential ticket of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in a landslide victory at the Eagle Square, Abuja.
Tinubu’s election is coming after the Labour Party, LP and People’s Democratic Party, PDP, picked Dr. Peter Obi and Atiku Abubakar respectively, as their flagbearer.
The emergence of Tinubu as APC standard bearer, brings to fore the question of fitness and ability to deliver electoral promises, especially as Nigeria is presently faced with hydra headed socio-economic and security challenges.
Political commentators have attributed the slow pace of Mohammed Buhari’s presidency to the deficiency of his health.
