All is not well with the camp of Bola Ahmed Tinubu, presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, as he has suspended the formal unveiling of Senator Kashim Shettima as his Vice Presidential running mate.
Inside source confided in Midwest Herald that, a high stakeholders meeting has been called to “evaluate the condemnations that has trailed the choice of Shettima.
It will be recalled that several Nigerians have expressed concern over Tinubu’s decision, especially as Shettima is alleged to be to be a sponsor of the dreaded Terrorist Boko Haram.
It will be recalled also, that the pan-Islamic sect was emboldened during the administration of Shettima as governor of Borno State, North East Nigeria.
His predecessor, Modu Sheriff had also pointed fingers at Shettima, as the mastermind of Boko Haram.
