Bola Ahmed Tinubu, presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in the 2023 general elections, on Tuesday, July 12, 2022, taunted Dr. Peter Obi and his supporters with derogatory names and sarcastically prayed they “…labour till death.”
Tinubu also described Labour Party and the People’s Democratic Party as a mushroom groups. But concerned Nigerians are questioning Tinubu’s state of mind to wish supporters of his opposing party, death.
Some respondents at the venue condemned controversial candidate for his unguarded remarks and expressed fear that it was an invitation for violence.
He poured his spiteful and venomous words Osogbo, Osun State capital, while campaigning for Governor Adegboyega Oyetola at a rally to re-elect the state governor.
The election comes up next Saturday, July 16, 2022.
Speaking to his listeners in yoruba language, the self-styled ‘Jagaban of Lagos’ said: “PDP and mushroom parties, like Labour Party. They say they are labour, they will labour till death.
“God will not let you become laborers.
“You will meet good fortune at home. The good fortune of money, children. You are next.”
Curiously, Tinubu failed to tell Nigerians what plans he has to fix the debilitating challenges facing the country, as he spent his time, dancing to the music of Ayinda Barrister and interjected with myriad of curses and boasty-conceited arrogance.
The ’emilokan’ maestro didn’t fail to tell Osogbo people that the presidency of Nigeria was his turn!
