Scepticism about the sack of Mr. Adams Aliyu Oshiomhole was finally removed earlier today with the removal of his photographs from the offices in the Blantyre Secretariat of the combusting party.
Apart from Oshiomhole’s photographs, billboards that were placed at various strategic points around the secretariat building were dismantled and thrown away. The billboards have been replaced with fresh designs wearing the photographs of President Muhammadu Buhari.
Midwest Herald checks revealed that the clean-up is part of the preparation to host the historic make or mar NEC meeting.
The billboards along Blantyre Street, Abuja which hitherto had fist hold photo of Oshiomhole, was removed.
Despite the conflicting court rulings, a source confided that the Buhari will attend the meeting because it was called at his instance.
Meanwhile, unusual Police patrol teams were sighted this afternoon around the National Secretariat. It was observed that riot policemen in more than eight patrol vans patrolled the streets around the secretariat.
