The Esogban of Benin Kingdom, Chief David Edebiri died today, July 20, 2023.
He reportedly died in an undisclosed hospital in Benin City, after a brief illness.
The late Esogban was a prolific journalist and author of several books, especially on Benin history and cultural heritage.
He was also a political figure whose position was always defined.
