The 2022 Nigeria Football Federation, NFF Elective Congress earlier planned to hold in Benin City, the Edo State capital, but stopped by the order of Justice Ekwo, will go ahead as scheduled, tomorrow September 30, 2022.
The relief was granted a while ago by the Court of Appeal in Abuja. The NFF and the litigants are due to return to court on October 5, 2022.
It will be recalled that, Hon. Justice I.E. Ekwo of the Federal High Court on the 15th day of September, 2022 had ordered all parties, including NFF and the Hon. Minister of Youth and Sports Development to maintain status quo ante pending the determination of the matter.
