Governor Godwin Nogheghase Obaseki of Edo State, today, October 24, 2022 witnessed the formal test run of the state-of-art modular refinery in Edo State.
The muti-product refinery is built by Duport Midstream Company Limited in partnership with NCDMB, and financing institutions. The facility is ‘Local Content Compliant’.
It is expected to refine 10,000 barrels per day and has 50 Mega Watts power plant.
It also has 60 million standard cubic feet (scf) Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) processing plant, as well as 10 million scf Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) plant and Tier-4 Data Centre.
The all-in-one installation is located in Orhionmwon Local Government Area of Edo State, which is reckon to be Nigeria’s leading gas field.
