
History was made this afternoon in Edo State when the leaders of ENDSARS protest engaged the Mr. Godwin Obaseki in a face to face meeting, first of it’s kind since the crisis broke out about two weeks ago.
The meeting which was attended by enlarged youth interest groups had in attendance, representatives of National Youth Council of Nigeria, Youth wing of Christian Association of Nigeria, National Councils of Muslim Youth, National Association of Nigerian Students, various Civil Society Groups and organised professional bodies.
The meeting held at the government House banquet hall amidst convivial atmosphere.
Mr. Obaseki acceded to the demand of the EDNSARS protesters and promised to activate the processes for restitution.
In return, the groups agreed to work with government to send out the hoodlums that have hijacked the peaceful process out of the streets of Edo State.
Edo State instantly relaxed the curfew to meet one of the demands of the group.
