It will be recall that Mr. Godwin Nogheghase Obaseki won the last governorship election in the state in a landslide fashion, so much so that the defeated APC candidate could not challenge the result at the election tribunal.

However, he opted to pursue the pending court case that they challenged the qualifications of Governor Obaseki.

The case suffered epilepsy and convulsion at the Appeal Court. Despite attempts to sponsor feader parties in the legion of unmeritorious cases, the judiciary cleared Obaseki’s qualification.

It became erroneous when the APC and her flag bearer discontenanced the judgement of the justices of six Appeal Courts, to further their attempt to restore a hope that was none existing.

The Supreme Court dismissed the appeal for being unmeritorious and also fined the APC the sum of One Million Naira.
