Some leaders of the Edo Peoples Movement, EPM are about now making plans to reconvene the earlier botched ‘shadow’ primary that was dispersed earlier today by thugs loyal to one of the aspirants.
A source within one of the opposing groups confirmed to Midwest Herald that the reinstated National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Mr. Adams Aliyu Oshiomhole, has ordered the waring factions to reconvene to conclude the exercise.
Earlier, Midwest Herald reported that thugs allegedly sponsored by forces loyal to former Deputy Governor, Mr. Pius Odubu had sacked members of Edo People Movement that were gathered in the premises of Mr. Lucky Imasuen to pick a consensus candidate to confront the incumbent governor, Mr. Godwin Nogheghase Obaseki.
We also reported that the incident was the culmination of weeks of zealous planning by camps of four major contenders under the All Progressives Congress National chairman, Mr. Adams Aliyu Oshiomhole.
