Gov. Obaseki Fortifies His Media Team, Appoints Okungbowa CPS

Edo State Governor Godwin Obaseki has reenforced his information unit with the employment of Mr. Andrew Okungbowa as Chief Press Secretary (CPS).

This is contained in a press release signed by the Secretary to Edo State Government, Osarodion Ogie Esq.

The new CPS is “a journalist and communication expert with vast experience as an editor and media consultant.

“He was the editor, travel and tourism at New Telegraph and served as president of the Association of Nigerian Journalists and Writers of Tourism (ANJET)”, the release stated.

Okungbowa is an alumnus of the University of Benin (UNIBEN), where he graduated with BA Theatre Arts in 1988. He also earned a Masters degree in English from the University of Lagos (UNILAG).

Andrew Okungbowa is bringing on board Obaseki’s team, his vast experience and contacts in the practice of journalism at a crucial time, Obaseki is winding down his tenure as governor of Edo State.
