The Governor of Abia state, Dr. Alex Otti, OFR, a first class economist and banker, within 24 hours of his assumption of office, has made some key appointments for strategic positions in his state.
Those appointed are the Secretary to Abia State Government, Chief of Staff to the Governor and six Special Advisers for critical sectors.
In a release by the Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ferdinand Ekeoma, Governor Otti approved the appointment of Prof. Kenneth Kalu as Secretary to the State Government.
Others are, Pastor Caleb Ajagba, PhD (Chief of Staff to the Governor), Dr. Ngozi Okoronkwo (Special Adviser Health Care Delivery Services), Mr. Kazie Ukoh (Chief Press Secretary to the Governor).
Mrs. Njum Onyemenam, is the new Accountant General of the state, while Mr. Ogbonnia Okereke has been saddled with sanitation as Head, Special (Taskfore on Emergency Cleanup of Aba & Umuahia).
