Reporters trickled in late yesterday that operatives of the Police drawn from Federal Special Anti Robbery Squad (SARS) may have effected the arrest of some aides of Edo State Government for yet to be established offence.
Midwest Herald gathered that the Special Adviser on Security, Andy Momodu, was arrested in the process by the security operatives who are alleged to have been sent from Abuja at request of the All Progressives Congress, APC national chairman, Mr. Adams Oshiomhole.
The operation may have failed as plans to whisk Mr. Momodu to Abuja, was unsuccessful at press time due to the intervention of Edo State Deputy Governor, Mr. Philip Shaibu.
